You probably think this world is a dream come true... but you're wrong

To be quite frank, I'm disappointed. On Saturday I went to see "Coraline." I went to middlebrook specifically to see it in 3D and paid extra for the really cool 3D glasses, but even though I was looking super cool with my shades on I couldn't get into the movie one bit.

It kinda was bad. I don't want to just flat out say I didn't like it because then I'm disagreeing with tons of people, but well, I didn't like it. I thought the story was uneventful and the action of the movie was not a bit enticing. Why was the mom in a neckbrace? Can you explain more about WhyB and why his name is WhyBorn? Can you explain why the Other Father turned into a pumpkin? So many things weren't explained and so many weird things happened. Usually I'm impressed by off the wall things, but these were just boring, even if they were unexpected.

I don't know I don't know I don't know. It was predictable and slow BUT the animation and 3D was really awesome. I felt like it was real?

OH THAT'S ANOTHER THING.
I couldn't connect to the story because I thought of the characters as stop animation dolls, not real people. Therefore, when the Other Mother wanted to poke out her eyes I wasn't appalled. It seemed like a good deal for this little doll to get new doll eyes. If it was a real little girl, maybe I would've been wildly against it, but it was a clay thing so it ain't so bad.

I just couldn't connect to the story one bit, and I really was super excited to see it to. Sorry if you're offended by my disapproval of the movie, but I didn't like it. Super cool for effects, super boring on story.
