today, i met with a features writer from the Asbury Park Press named Patti Bartsche. She's really nice and was very informative. She was the editor-in-chief of Manasquan's newspaper when she attended high school there, and had some interesting stories of her early years in the business. I had always kept Journalism in the back of my mind as a career choice, but Mrs. Bartsche told me that majoring in Journalism is a bad idea, so I'm going to take that advice.
I also learned that it's easier to get into contact with high profile people than I had originally thought. She said all she does is google "celebrity's name publicist" and works from there, so if I ever need Zach Braff's phone number that's what I'm gonna doooo.

So, on another note, the Asbury Par Film Festival is this weekend. There are a lot of movies there, some about Johnny Cash and a couple centered around the jersey shore. You should all check it out, it starts thursday
