now this thing:
INTERVIEW WITH JACKIE NASTI
What were your sleeping habits when you attended Wall and how do they compare to today's, now that you go to night school?

- Well, when I went to Wall I tried to get to bed as early as possible but it was never enough, so I always ended up passing out when I got home from school. Now I go to bed later and wake up later, since I'm most definitely a night person, but I feel much better about getting the right amount of sleep.

Do you feel you perform better at night school?

- I'm able to concentrate much better at night school, since I'm not trying to keep myself from falling asleep constantly any more at school. So yeah, I'm doing much better now and I have more time to do my homework, so I always have it done.

What were the leading factors in making your decision to leave Wall?

- Basically, I was always late and missed school often, and I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to graduate. Now that I'm in night school (and Brookdale) I never miss class, am always on time, and know that I'm going to graduate for sure and with better grades.

Do you feel that going to night school has improved your health at all?

- Yes, I do think that I've been healthier since leaving Wall High School. For one thing, I got my tonsils out this summer, so I haven't been sick from that. But also, the lack of sleep really takes a toll on teenagers. Since I've been getting enough sleep, I've been feeling so much better and haven't really gotten sick at all. I've also been noticeably happier since I left, which is a result of being healthy.

  1. Decent interview Kat. Two things:
    1. Perhaps some background about source beyond a name.
    2. Some context. As your blog is film-related, why not try to transition and introduce your feature reporting?
